"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.

Hey fellow DA's people. I have great news. I have NEW ART that will be submited sooon, and I mean soon. Just got to find the right plug to the camera. and No I can't scan it casue my printer is really that stupid that it can't scan or print right. *hits printer* Oh I can't wait for you guys to see my new art, you are going to love it or not T_T and I really hope you like it at least. Heh heh. Also I have a new hair style it will be in a picture I drew. Really pretty. Of course mother does not like but I love it.
